Evolve Document Solutions has introduced the Evolve Innovation Circle. This early-access program offers existing customers the chance to benefit from new time-saving document management utilities before they are released to the wider market.
The Bamber Bridge-based photocopier leasing company has launched the program exclusively for Evolve customers at schools, professional firms, charities, and SMEs. Participants will test small-scale software utilities designed to reduce administration time, lower printing costs, and simplify day-to-day document handling. Feedback gathered from members will be used to refine each tool ahead of general release.
The first utility available through the Evolve Innovation Circle is the Copier Usage Reporter. This utility allows organisations to track print volumes without requesting meter readings from staff. It marks the start of a planned series of targeted tools developed to address common inefficiencies in office document management.
Managing Director Daniel Maddox said: “We want our customers to be part of the design process, not just end users. The Innovation Circle is a front-row seat to what’s coming next. You’ll get the future first! And – together we’ll collaborate to help shape time-saving software utilities that all offices need.”
Evolve has already developed its own bespoke document management software. Agility (agilityscan.co.uk) is part of their wider suite of office solutions alongside photocopier leasing and managed print services. It’s designed to help organisations store, organise, and retrieve digital documents efficiently, often by integrating with multifunction devices so that paper documents can be scanned, indexed, and securely stored in the cloud.
With innovations such as cloud connectivity, AI-assisted document routing, and enhanced data protection becoming standard expectations, early access programmes enable providers to assess new features in real-world conditions before broader rollout.
The Evolve Innovation Circle will be headed by Evolve technician Adam Logsdon, who said: “We’ve all used tools that look good on paper but don’t fit the way people actually work. This is our way of fixing that before launch – by building with the people who’ll be using them.”
Membership of the Innovation Circle is open to all Evolve Document Solutions customers, regardless of size. Participants will be invited to trial upcoming utilities and contribute directly to their development.
