Evolve Donates Copier to Accrington Stanley Community Trust

Evolve Document Solutions has donated a refurbished photocopier to Accrington Stanley Community Trust as part of its ongoing Copiers 4 Causes initiative, supporting the Trust’s growing admin and outreach needs.

Preston-based Evolve provided the copier to help streamline day-to-day operations at the Stanley Sports Hub in Accrington, where the charity coordinates a wide range of community programmes.

Launched in 2016, Copiers 4 Causes offers refurbished copiers, at no cost or heavily subsidised, to charities and not-for-profits across the North West. Machines that are no longer needed by commercial clients are fully serviced and rehomed, extending their life where they can deliver tangible savings and improved productivity.

Joanna Williams, Partnership and Fundraising Manager at Accrington Stanley Community Trust, said: “Thank you Evolve and their kind donation of a photocopier. The copier will save us a fortune on printing, which means more of our funding can go straight into delivering our community programmes.”

The Trust is the charitable arm of Accrington Stanley Football Club and delivers a broad portfolio of activities aimed at promoting sport, education, health, and social inclusion. These include disability football sessions, over-50s leagues, veterans hubs, holiday camps, and qualifications ranging from Primary Stars to Foundation Degrees – all run from the charity’s £4 million purpose-built facility.

In the year ending June 2023, the Trust reported working with more than 20,000 individuals across East Lancashire. The new copier will support the team’s internal communications, event planning, programme delivery, and community outreach.
